1938 Harley-Davidson American Flathead WL in Gunter, TX

rare piece of American history, a 1938 Harley WL Flathead. The frame, motor, transmission, and the tanks are all original. The only reproduction parts I know of are the rear fender, battery box the seat and the handlebars. The motor has been completely gone through, with the bottom end sealed and bolted but the top end finger tightened to be inspected before tightening and firing. The transmission is currently dissembled, with every single component clean and neatly packaged in zip lock bags, ready to be reassembled. Drum brakes function well. With a little additional cash and some love you will have a very nice very original 76 year old Harley in your garage.
